We have NOT received any credible information about a confirmed Ramadhan moon sighting.
However, Muslim Scholars are strongly recommending Mo’mineen and Mo’minaat fast on Thursday, Sep 13, 2007. If it is later established that indeed Thursday was the 1st of Ramadhan, those who fasted on Thursday would not have missed the fast of the 1st of Ramadhan.
Insha Allah Ta’ala Iftar and Dua-e-Kumail will be held at Az-Zahra Center on Thursday Sept 13th after Maghribain prayers.
Iftar will be potluck.
